Adrian Smith one of the guitarists in Iron Maiden and this is his rocking signature Jackson! Part of the X Series, the Jackson Adrian Smith features a basswood body and maple neck: a classic combination for metal with loads of bottom and punchy mids with enough top end pop to keep things nice and aggressive! The HSS humbucker/singlecoil/singlecoil 'superstrat' pickup configuration means you can help yourself to a whol palette of tones from lush and thick through to tight and focused.

The Adrian Smith Electric Guitar features a basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, compound-radius maple fingerboard, HSS configuration (high-output Jackson bridge pickup, noiseless middle and neck single-coil pickups), white pickguard (rosewood fingerboard model) or black pickguard (maple fingerboard model), five-way blade selector switch, Jackson tuners, Floyd Rose Special tremolo system and unique beautiful black hardware.

The Seymour Duncan Humbucker is as clear-sounding as Strat pickups but also sounds INCREDIBLE thick and punchy with heavy distortions with loads of clarity, because no matter how overdriven the sound, it does not become muddy.  

If you look at the DC Resistance specs for these pickups, you will see they're very similar to PAF-style models. However, their performance is very different in two important areas. They have power and at same time much more treble response than "vintage'' humbuckers.

In fact, treble response is comparable to that of typical single-coils, but since bass response is still very solid,  isn't thin-sounding. It's outstanding for chords and finger-picking, and has exceptional definition for soloing, even with extreme amounts of distortion.  

So, if you like Iron Maiden, or any music style from heavy metal to Blues, THIS IS YOUR GUITAR!
