You can see the very complete article about Julve's guitars, here:

Telesforo Julve Jordán (January 11, 1884, Villarroya - 1945, Valencia) was a Spanish guitar maker, based in.

His guitars were very popular during the first decades of the, being exported internationally. The musicologist and guitar maker José Luis Romanillos collects it in his dictionary of guitar makers.

He was born on January 11, 1884 in () and died in Valencia in 1945. He learned the trade of guitar maker from the hand of his uncle Andres Marín.

Since 1909 he opened a workshop together with two other partners Francisco Armengol and Francisco Lloréns, a company that existed until 1915 when Armengol left, leaving Lloréns and Julve alone. It was in 1918 that Julve began working independently.

In addition to guitars, the company was also in charge of making strings, which were often imported from other countries. Many builders left Julve's workshop, who after a period of training left the workshop to try their luck on their own, with uneven fortune. Among them Ricardo Sanchis stands out, who after 8 years in the workshop settled alone in 1925.

It is estimated that for several years it had a production of several thousand units.

After his death in 1945, the business was continued by his sons Juan and Telesforo Julve Torres.
