Antigua Casa Nuñez, 1925 aprox.
In 1858, a Spanish immigrant named Francisco Nuñez, arrived in Argentina and settled in Buenos Aires with the desire to become the best guitar maker in the country. By 1870, he conceived the formation of the House, then called Francisco Nuñez y Cia Guitar Factory.
In 1925, changes the name of company for the Antigua Casa Nuñez.
The Antigua Casa Nuñez Guitars was played by great classical guitarists in all the world, included A. Segovia.
This model of Nunez hasn't bracing, like many other historical guitars, to be easy and with good resonance.
Very nice the mother of pearl applied in the guitar.
VIDEO OF GUITAR ON REQUEST.
Diapason 62,5, nut width 50, and the sound is nice and balanced.
The guitar has some normal sign of time (normal for 100 years old guitar), but all is perfect restored and stabilized.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The upper part of the handle has a little grooves, probably due to the use of an iron nut.
This guitar is ideal - for quality, price and level, to approach the historical spanish guitars.
Top, Spruce,
Back and side, rosewood
Nut width 50 mm
Diapason 625 mm
