Fully Restored Carver M-400T "The Cube" Stereo/Mono Power Amp - Over 200WPC Or 500W Mono In A Tiny Package!

For sale is a fully restored Carver M-400T "The Cube mono/stereo power amplifier capable of 200WPC into 8Ohms or 500W into 8 Ohms mono! Some sources say they put out up to 250WPC in stereo! This is the upgraded/more desirable "T" variant that is voiced to sound like a tube amp. These are truly fantastic sounding amplifiers with a ton of headroom and a sleek compact look! There isn't anything else out there like this amp and it performs flawlessly after restoration!

Cosmetically the amp is MINT condition - it was purchased working from the second owner and there was obviously pride of ownership with this one. Please study the pics carefully.

Electronically the entire amplifier was first recapped completely using only high quality, high temp, long life capacitors. Every single electrolytic l capacitor was changed and special attention was given to voltage ratings throughout. The main filter caps were doubled in value which (now 10,000uF per rail) which really helps with instantaneous bass response. All calibration points were adjusted to spec and the amplifier was detailed inside and out. All thermal paste throughout was replaced. Lastly all solder joints were looked over carefully and any questionable ones touched up to ensure reliability. This amp performs consistently and flawlessly every time.

Sonically, as stated above, it's an absolutely amazing sounding amplifier and was restored to last for years to come. The reviews online don't lie - these are truly wonderful sounding amplifiers!
