This might be the ONLY Tunisian mandole for sale in the US. This instrument allows for playing the Makam quarter note system found in music from North Africa through Central Asia and the Middle East. I had this one built by Walt Kuhlman after years of trying to learn to play oud, and needed an instrument with frets that could get the same tones allow for playing the same styles of music, plus some other North African pop styles like chaabi. Instrument has fantastic tone, very authentic. Scale length 25.5 in. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard. Please feel free to ask for more photos and I'd be happy to answer any questions that you have. Selling due to an impending move overseas, and am cutting down to a single guitar. All sales final, so please ask questions or request more photos before bidding.
