About This Listing

This lawsuit Les Paul copy from Japan features Maxon pickups that date to April, 1973. These are the same pickups used by Greco and Ibanez in the era! Check out the very familiar-looking headstock logo! The Ganson brand is extremely rare and I believe was only distributed in Japan where I sourced this guitar. The guitar was made in the famous Kasuga Factory in Japan where many famous guitars originated including some of the early top of the line Navigator guitars for ESP and the Roland Synth guitar.
The guitar is in good playing condition and sounds great! There are some scratches mostly in the side and back of the guitar and corrosion on the hardware (see pictures). The knobs are replacements (but matched to the original). Comes in a nice padded gig bag.
