The Gibson Mandobass is quite an amazing instrument. Produced from aproximately 1912 - 1930 there weren't a lot of these instruments produced. Some estimates say only 200 were made.
Our Mandobass is in good playing condition and includes the arm rest, which is frequently missing. There are of course a few bumps and bruises that are unavoidable with an instrument of this age, and especially one that didn't come with a case. The play-ability is good and the frets are in good condition. As you can see from our photos the original pegs are no longer with this Mandobass. There is also a bit of separation of the top from the sides at the tailpiece. Still a beautiful instrument with an amazing sound.
