This is a vintage and rare 1955 Gretsch 6155 Electromatic Artist tube combo amp with tremolo -- which I’ve never seen on another of this model).
The 6155 features a tone typical of the era, with a deep clean tone and a thick, midrange-focused overdrive when pushed. It was been cleaned and serviced by the guy I got it from last summer. Tweed is rough, butt is fully functional and sounds fantastic.

- 5Y3, 6V6 (2), 6SQ7 (2), 6J7
- Volume (also on/off), Tone, Tremolo Speed, standby toggle switch
- 16'' x 15.5'' x 8''
- 20 lbs.
- original: transformers; 10” Rola field-coil speaker; tweed and grillcloth
-replacement: volume and tone cream chickenhead knobs; leather handle; grounded power cord; several resistors and caps
