This beautiful instrument was purchased straight from the man him self. I live in the boise area where they are made. this one comes with two pick guards that are quickly interchangeable due to the locking tuners, the quick release wiring harness and the steel threaded inserts for the pick guard screws. The guard that is installed in it on the pictures contain porter ricochet pick ups, the bridge one is one that I had him custom make for me and wrap with a heavier gauge wire for a little more output. the neck pick up is a standard ricochet pick up, although these look like humbuckers they are actually triangular wound single coil pickups. The second pick guard( the white one), Is equipped with three Strat style Single coils that have a very luscious tone to them as well as some bite and spank. another super cool feature about this guitar are the Dunlop strap lock pieces that are actually recessed into the guitar. all hardware is top-of-the-line hipshot, including the open gear locking tuning heads. simply unlock your strings from the tuning gears and quickly change out pick guards and never worry about stripping out the holes for the pick guard screws because they have threaded inserts. also included is the brand new gator hardshell case. comes strung up with brand new GHS boomer strings ,10 - 46 1 5/8 nut width 12 inch fret board radius 25.5 inch scale length steel frets emerson pots wgt 6.6 lbs. mahogany body maple neck
