Excellent Condition, barely used Slope Shoulder Dread from Pre*War Guitars Co. Distress Level 2. These wonderful guitars currently have a nearly 2 year wait to order new, and are very hard to find used.
Mahogany back and Sides, Torrefied Adirondack Spruce Top.
Big warm punchy sound, with a very strong midrange and projection, especially when flatpicked.
Little-to-no fretwear, professionally installed strap button. No damage besides the original distressing & relic work from the builders. The level 2 distressing includes finish checking on all areas as well as numerous small dings/scratches/distress marks on all of the sides, headstock, bridge, with more significant distressing around the lower part of the soundhole, some rosewood oil/glue squeeze markings on the bridgeplate, similar to old Gibsons. The included case is from their new case manufacturer, The Original Case Company. There is some extra room in the case around the shoulders of the guitar so isn't a tight fit (am told this is so it could also fit a square shoulder dread), but I will add extra padding to ensure no movement when shipping.
Full Specs and Description From Pre*War: The slope-shoulder: A favorite of many a famous songwriter or folksinger, but completely at home in the hands of a bluesman or bluegrasser as well. The slopeshoulder is feather weight and responds to the the fingerpicker's touch as well as the flatpicker's. It can whisper, and it can shout, you feel it moving the air around you. A particularly great guitar for the solo performer, but this one will be a perfect fit for any musical setting you can put it in.
