About This Listing

1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Edition (very limited run, only for Japan), with an original Gibson stamped Kahler tremolo, and the particularity of having totally black hardware. Even the original Tim Shaw pickups left the factory with black chrome covers, this is the only Gibson model as far as I know that is equipped with them (if anyone has seen them on another guitar, message me!).

A pure 80's guitar, in the look and in the sound, weighting 4.4kg ! On the aesthetic side, it's player grade, you can tell the guitar has had a life of gigs. No break or repair to report, but a good amount of finish checking.

Very pleasant to play, relatively thin neck (not slim tapper, but not a r8 log), frets are good condition, and nice tuning stability thanks to the locking nut.

All original except a tuner and 3 pots
.
Comes in a gibson custom shop case from the 2010s
