This is an amazing guitar! First, the obvious. The custom cowboy graphic is just too cool! It has been actually carved into the body wood and then singed and clear coated over. Forrest is known for doing some of the coolest custom finishes and graphics out there and this is one of the best.
What’s not apparent from the picture is what an awesome playing and sounding instrument it is. Has ALL the snap, twang and gristle you could ever want out of the bridge pickup. Just moving your pick placement brings huge tone changes. But then the middle position is big and beautiful with just a hint of grind. Throw on the front pickup and you could play jazz all day long. An extremely versatile guitar.
The guitar is extremely light at 6 lbs 10 oz. I believe the body is Sugar Pine and it is really balanced nicely with the neck, which is a chunky U-shape neck with vintage frets.
It’s in great shape overall. Little to no fret wear. The body has a few small dings and dents. The only one if significance is on the rear lower bout near the input jack.
All the electronics work perfectly.
I’ll ship it in a nice Gator semi-hard case for the right price!
