The Pioneer PL-30L, released in 1980 during the "Gold Era" of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, is a well-crafted direct drive turntable that sounds as good as it looks.There are several other technical achievements, including the “Stable” Hanging Rotor ”design, where the supporting point of the rotor is directly under the platter. With this design, the center of mass of the platter and the rotor supporting point are aligned, and the reduced side pressure on the bearing increases the stability of rotation By virtue of the PL-30L's extremely solid construction and great design, pitch accuracy is phenomenal. Add to this the handsome plinth, and you have a turntable that is both functional and beautiful.The pure electronic quick stop mechanism which stops a turntable instantaneously in conjunction with a silent lift up mechanism is carried. This turntable is in very good condition, with only minor signs of use (please see photos), including a few minor scratches, tape marks and other stains (please see photos). The Dust cover has minor scratches (please see pictures and refer to) dust cover policy below). Overall it's in great shape. Furthermore, it has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. Both 33 and 45 settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork.
