1997 Cunetto Relic Nocaster in extremely rare sea foam green. John Cruz stamp on the neck.

From the earlier days of the Fender custom shop. These were the first relics they offered.

This one is an excellent condition and is all original. Shows light play wear in places.

More details and photos to follow. Sounds incredible. COA is missing in action but the process of obtaining a replacement from fender has been initiated. If and when the new COA is acquired I will send it on to the new owner.

Cruz was not a masterbuilder when these were constructed. It’s not exactly known what role he had with each guitar but it does seem he was involved with at least quality control.

This one has a 9.5 inch radius. I’d say the neck profile is a larger D-shape or perhaps U-shape. Pretty similar ideas. The measurements are .850 just behind the first fret, .860 just behind the fifth, and .930 just behind the 12th fret. These measurements were taken from the top of the wood on the fretboard to the back of the neck. The body is two-piece ash. The pick ups don’t seem to have a particular name but they were specially made by the custom shop for only these guitars. Their voiced like vintage pickups just a little hotter but nothing crazy. I only have a home digital scale but it comes to 7.3 pounds on that.
