This is an amazing 1934 Kalamazoo, Michigan made Gibson L-50 Archtop acoustic guitar that comes with the original hardshell case! This baby is sweet! Sounds just how a 1930's Gibson should - dry/woody with plenty of mojo. Great blues machine or folk guitar. It has that desirable chunky, V-neck that makes it a joy to play. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides.
We believe this to be mostly original hardware except for the pickguard. Pictures show that this has dings and scuffs that show this guitar has been played well throughout its life. Has a few repaired cracks on the back of the body and some dents on the back of the neck. Has been professionally re-fretted has a new nut and bone saddle. Ladder braced with two parallel top braces with arched top and flat back.
Scale length: 24 3/4" with a 1 3/4" nut width. Bound Brazilian fingerboard and Brazilian rosewood bridge. Grover nickel-plated Sta-Tite open back tuners. Original raised diamond trapeze tailpiece.
