Hello,

For your consideration, a rare and nice Japanese gem produced by one of the most famous and old Japanese manufacturers named Kawai under brand name Rockoon, which was originally invented in collaboration with German hardware and pickup company named Schaller: all-maple Rockoon RF-37 Fat Stratocaster. The guitar was produced in 1987 and, on my taste and experience, became one of the best Strats of so-called Golden Era of Japanese guitar craftsmanship.

The most important detail needed to be admitted is the guitar's body, which is made of rock maple. So, if you like "sharp" guitar sound – it will match your preferences perfectly. Yes, it's a bit heavier than most of the Strats (more close to ash Stratocaster guitars), but there are 200 extra grams only, but in the end you will get a truly crystal sound.

The guitar itself is in very good condition as shown on photos, and it's just slightly worn – mostly a pickguard which was scratched due to intensive play, I guess. Original Vintage White finishing turned a bit yellow, so now it's more close to Ivory White than to original colour. There are only a couple dents on the body and just a few scratches and some wear on back side of the neck as well as some tiny scuff near the string tree. The working part of the neck is in excellent condition, straight, frets are near-jumbo profiled and still have most of their life. All the electronics working in a proper way (really love the sound of these pickups!). The guitar is absolutely all-original with its all black Gotoh hardware. The only issue is missing tremolo arm, but it can be easily replaced with any same.

Features:

• Rock maple body
• Maple neck
• Rosewood fingerboard
• 25,5" scale
• Gotoh Japan black hardware
• Split-coil humbucker controlled by push-pull Tone knob
• Unique Rockoon Japan pickups
• Ivory White color
• 3,9 kg

Don't miss out this awesome Fatso! WE DO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY! Please, review the photos closely for condition, and do not hesitate to ask any questions before you make an offer or buy it. You may need to do slight further setup on the guitar to get it to match your preferences, but now everything works in a proper way and the guitar is set up perfectly for me.

NOTICE: This guitar is about 35 years old, not new and sells AS-IS. It may have some visual imperfections, and/or non-original parts, so we won't accept absolutely no full/partial refund or any return on this guitar. By pressing 'BUY' or 'MAKE AN OFFER' buttons you confirm that you have fully read the description and totally agree with all of these terms. From our side, we promise that you'll receive exactly what you see on attached photos, no exclusions.
