CPM22M provide a convenient method of brining 22 MIDI 5-pin DIN jacks to the front of the rack. It is simply a connector panel that connects the front jacks to the corresponding back jacks, with no active circuitry, no internal routing and no internal or automatic switching. The routing and switching is done with the midi patch cables in the front, by patching one point to another.  Any socket can be used for MIDI signals in either direction. It’s great for when you have more synths than you have midi interface ports for that require a bi-directional MIDI connection for operations like sysex in both directions. It can organize and tidy-up the connections from a system employing many synthesizers, sound modules, rackmount dum modules, rackmount samplers, drum machines, MIDI interfaces, thru boxes and merge boxes, eliminating the usual chaotic tangle of cables behind a rack resulting confusion and frustration. 10 label strips are included that slide into place under a transparent holder slot.
