Description
The Accuphase T-1000 is a high-fidelity FM radio tuner that was released in Japan in 2005. Like other Accuphase products, this unit features advanced circuit engineering and high quality components. The salient features of the T-1000 are the Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS), Direct Synthesis Double Cancellation (DS-DC) and Differential Gain Layer (DGL). The DDS is in the front end and is a method for producing a high-SNR local oscillator. The DS-DC is a stereo demodulation technology The DGL is a fantastic proprietary circuit in the signal detection part of the unit. High-frequency amplification is performed by a cascode FET circuit. The unit features analog outputs and a high-quality digital output. All of these technologies and more combine to realize a simply superb FM tuner.
