SPENDOR D7.2 FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERS

This superbly balanced realism comes from asophisticated design that is undemanding of placement in the listening room.Easy to drive and efficient the D7.2 is compatible with any amplifier design,from low powered tube amps to powerful solid state designs.

The SpendorD7.2 is an elegant floorstanding loudspeaker from Spendor. The D7.2 featuresthe LPZ tweeter, which is built around a stainless steel front plate that formsan acoustic chamber directly in front of the lightweight diaphragm. Thephase-correcting microfoil equalises soundwave path lengths, whilst generatinga symmetrical pressure environment so the tweeter operates in a balanced linearmode. The Spendor D7.2 mid-bass drive unit has an advanced EP77 polymer cone,whilst the low-frequency drive unit uses a bonded Kevlar composite.The latestfifth generation Spendor Linear Flow port features a twin-venturi, taperedbaffle element working in harmony with Spendor’s proven dynamic damping,asymmetric bracing and rigid plinth mountings.

The D7.2also features a high rigidity stabiliser plate system for solid floor mounting,recessed high quality alloy binding posts on the rear and Spendor ‘dynamicdamping’ to minimise cabinet resonances. Together, these elements result in amassively detailed loudspeaker, with exceptional dynamics and a huge sound fortheir size.  The D7.2 comes in two different levels of finish, standardveneer and premium lacquer.
