This is a true one of a kind and something made very special. As an authorized dealer, I have curated some incredible and exclusive amps, absolute works of art, with the crew at Victoria Amp Co. I have absorbed the glorious tones since the beginning, living down the street from the company, and have been fortunate to have seen and heard some of the greatest amps made in the world!
A couple of years ago, the idea for a 9x8" High Power tweed combo amp was birthed with a harmonica player in mind. And I had been sure to be hanging out at the factory the day it was completed. When we tested the amp with a guitar the entire block was completely blown away!
Those couple years passed and I still had that life changing moment of tonal perfection etched in my brain. I couldn't sleep... I had to make it happen.
Mark and the crew were able to recreate the mythical 80+ watt behemoth, with a gorgeous custom black lacquered tweed cabinet loaded with nine 8" Italian made Alnico Jensen speakers and a boost switch!
Here is the first, only, and very likely last, "Harpegeddon Amplifier" now available for sale to the public!
This legendary beast is essentially an 80w High Power Tweed Twin with nine 8-inch (1xc8r 8xp8r) Jensen speakers! There is even a midrange boost switch added for an alternate voicing. The amp is incredible in every way and even sounds beyond impressive with a bass plugged into it! With a Reverberato unit in front of it - nothing compares. As a pedal platform - it outperforms all. The feel of this amp altogether, is unmatched by anything else ever experienced. A tidal wave of tonal ecstasy.
I can't express it enough, experiencing this amp is life changing.
