Here's what I believe to be one of the earliest examples of the Krank Chadwick series 2 head (which is two-channel amp as opposed to 1-channel Chadwick series 1). Made in 2005, this amp slays. Not as 'metal' as their flagship Revolution/Krankenstein models from the time, it delivers more vintagy/crunchy/Marshally tones and also have a marvelously beautiful sparkling clean channel. It can do hi-gain stuff too, though it's a bit blurrier than your typical metal amp, which can be fixed with overdrives I guess. It also doesn't sound quite as JCM800 which is often said on the net - it has its own thing going. I believe Metallica used the single-channel version (which included fully in the clean section of this amp) in their studio for more than 10 years.
Ok, as for the technical part - everything works just fine. No scratching
pots/jacks, tons of life in tubes. Comes with original footswitch also.
