About This Listing

1981 Marshall JCM 800 Bass Series / Super Bass head. Excellent also for guitar.

Serial number: S/A 06597N

Recently inspected and re-tubed by Alberto Dani (aka T-Pedals), a renowned tech and pedal-builder in Italy. It has new condensers and 2 matched pairs of Tung Sol 6550 power tubes (instead of the original EL34). With the 6550s it reaches about 120W output (instead of the stock 100W). Pre-amp tubes are 12ax7: one Sovtek 12ax7-LPS and two JJ ECC83s. Tons of volume and clean headroom, it roars better than ever and takes very well boosters, od, fuzz pedals and the like.

As you can see, the front panel has been cutomised. I personally like it a lot :) But one can easily re-paint it to get back to the original black.

Rockbag cover included.
