Here's a Carvin/Kiesel CT624 Carved top, set neck, 24 fret, made in USA, beauty of a guitar. This one has a chambered body, so it's light and resonant. I upgraded the standard Wilkinson VS100 vibrato to the Gotoh 510ts-bs vibrato. More mass, chromed brass saddles. More sustain and robust tone. A huge improvement on an already excellent guitar. Kiesel locking tuners and a Carvin/Kiesel hard/soft gig bag. Pretty full C shaped neck, not too big, not too small. Ebony fret board with a natural distinctive streak on it (i.e. not dyed ebony). Abalone dot inlays. There is a tiny amount of lifting of the clear coat at the neck joint. Really hard to see in person and even harder to photograph. And, a tiny ding on the upper edge of the body, near impossible to photograph, but you can feel it as you run your finger along the edge. Stainless steel frets, no wear and you'll never need a fret job, unless you prefer stainless strings. A really fine example of a mahogany body and neck. An incredibly 3D flamed maple top and head stock. The pics are OK, but it's way more lush in person. Coil cut on the tone knob for strat spank, with a 3 way switch. Not 100% on which model of the pickups, but I'm inclined to say C22s, based on other Carvins I've owned. If you built this up at Kiesel, it would run you at least $2250 including tax.
