Magnatone Mark IV 1957 Sunburst Electric Guitar

Up for sale is a 1957 Magnatone Mark IV electric guitar. The guitar is used but in great cosmetic and playing condition considering the age. There are various signs of cosmetic wear including some nicks and dings in the finish but nothing major. The guitar has no breaks or repairs and is completely original with no changed parts. The headstock has some light wear but no breaks. The plastic covers have shrunk a small amount so they are warped lightly. The neck is in good playing condition. There is some wear in the finish on the bass side near the first couple of frets. It is not a break. The back of the neck has some light indentations from what appears to be sitting on a stand. They don't go through the finish and don't affect the playability. The fret board shows no cracks or dings. The fret wire is very small but no pitting. The body is in good condition with just some light nicks. The top has some very light checking in the finish as well as a couple of scratch marks. The back has some more prominent checking but again nothing major. The electronics are in good working order. The guitar plays nice but feels different from most other guitars due to the tiny fret wire. The guitar will ship in the original brown hard case. The case is in great shape with all of the latches working fine. The licking latch has been broken. It weighs in at 7.4 lbs. Please view all of the photos for a better idea of condition.
