Doug Pinnick worked with Schecter Guitars on this new 12-string bass, and the left-handed prototype was delivered to him in April, 2020. Doug stated, "I just got my first signature 12-string bass from Schecter Guitars." Pinnick currently endorses Schecter and plays a Schecter signature model 4-string bass.

This new 12-string bass looks very similar to Pinnick ™s custom Yamaha 12, and for a good reason - the Yamaha custom shop generously supplied the specs! The model number is ˜dug Pinnick DP-12 ™ and œdUg is inlaid at the 12th fret.
