FIRST TO SAY, I SUGGEST NOT TU BUY ANY ME-10 UNIT UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEND IT FOR REPAIR. THERE IS NO WAY YOU WILL RECEIVE PROPERLY WORKING UNIT, EVEN IF THE SELLER CLAIMED THE UNIT IS BRAND NEW AND NEVER BEEN PLUGGED IN. ALL OF the ME-10 I SAID ALL OF THEM ARE DEFECTIVE DUE TO USE FAULTY ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS IN FIRST PLACE. YES, THE BOSS HAVE USED NOT QUALITY ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS IN THESE UNITS AND ALL OF THEM MUST BE REPLACED. I PURCHASED THIS UNIT ON EBAY AND SELLER CLAIMED THE UNIT WORKS PERFECT, GUESS WHAT, THERE IS NO MIRACLE, I HAVE REPLACED ALL OF the CAPS AND NOW THE UNIT WILL WORK THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE.
Vintage Boss ME-10 Guitar Multiple Effects pedals. This unit works 100%, everything works with no issues whatsoever. The unit looks Great, few small scratches on the bottom of the unit but nothing major. Please refer to the pictures. NOW THE MAIN PART. I've been fixing those units a lot and can assure you every one of them had a major problem, FAULTY ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS. There are about 127th PC mount capacitors in the unit and ALL OF THEM MUST BE REPLACED to achieve proper working order for many years to come AND THIS IS NOT EASY FIX LIKE MANY PEOPLE SAY, IT IS MAJOR REPAIR. EVERY SINGLE FUNCTION ON THIS UNIT WORKS AND WILL WORK FOR YEARS. It takes more when two days for labor, special tools, and special skills to accomplish the job properly. I've been busy with repair those units a lot lately, seems like I'm only the person who does repair them in the country. Units become a collectible item and owners prefer to have fully working units, instead of just a cool looking shell. Bid with confidence, you will be totally satisfied with this one. There is no comparison in the sound quality ME 10 has with current units. ME 10 sounds MUCH MUCH fatter and nicer. The unit comes with Owners Manual on CD PDF format. If you need a working horse, not a museum item, then this you is for you.
