Insiders know: The dimensions of the straight full-size 4x12 Marshall Cab were chosen for practical considerations. Actually, the volume is too small for the four 12 inch speakers. Sound is lost due to this limitation.
Here is the reference box MINDMASTER Original Marshall JCM 800 from 1985 with a cabinet depth of 45 cm. A standard Marshall full-size speaker in the straight B version is 36 cm deep. The slanted A version even only 28 cm. Experts should be clear on the basis of these specifications quickly what they have here in front of them. "One of a kind"
The speaker is in a unique and excellent condition. The 100% original tolex is in absolutely gorgeous condition. Equally unique is the patina on the metal parts of the fittings all around. Please see the detailed pictures for more information. Back panel and the pinstripe of the baffle have been replaced. No longer present are the originally installed Celestion G12 speakers with date code T.
The exact history can unfortunately no longer be researched. The unused condition leads me to believe that this speaker came from a recording studio.
The speaker has been completely cleaned and therefore presents itself in a living room condition.
