By refining the most popular of the range, andusing key components from the flagship fact fenestria, they've created thesignature models: two- and three-way ATL™ loudspeakers with even greatermusicality and transparency. From whisper-quiet to levels you feel rather thanhear, the fact signature brings you the magic in the music, with nothing addedor taken away.
The fact.8 signature builds on the balanced,engaging sound and life-like imaging of the original fact speakers. It takes tothe next level the fact speakers’ ready ability to accurately reproduce allgenres of music via its twin PMC bass drivers, ATL™ and soft-dome treble, acollaboration with precision Norwegian acoustic specialists SEAS. In short,it’s a meticulously engineered, stylish loudspeaker that delivers the optimumoutput for medium-to-larger rooms with a wide range of amplification, soundingmusical at all volumes and flawlessly conveying the emotion and beauty of amusical performance without unwanted enhancement or exaggeration.

New crossovers, mounted on military-grade circuit boards, are populatedwith the same handselected components employed in the fenestria, with thepositioning of each component carefully calculated to minimise unwantedinterference. Audiophile grade switching, set into the solid aluminium backpanel, permits subtle tailoring of the bass and treble response of the speakersto create the perfect sound balance in the listening room. Connections to theamplifier are via silver coated binding posts and it is possible to bi/tri-wireor bi/tri-amp the speakers.

The two-way fact.8 signature retain the familiar features which havemade them firm favourites. The SONOMEX™ dome treble unit is common across bothmodels and the fact.12 utilises a hand-made 50mm dome midrange that incorporatesdesign elements from the mid-range driver in fenestria, for the same sense ofclean, airy and room-enveloping sound. fact.8 features light, super-stiff,natural fibre bass drivers. And, of course, the Fact 8 Siganture has at itsheart PMC’s Advanced Transmission Line bass-loading technology, proven aroundthe world in the leading professional recording studios to extend low frequencyperformance and present an ultraclear midrange.

As is befitting of such high-performance loudspeakers, the fact.8signature models are supplied in two stunning new finishes: White Silk andMetallic Graphite, to enhance any environment and make a signature statement.

The source of PMC’s legendarynatural, realistic sound is the Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) basstechnology, professionally proven all around the world.
ATL uses energy generated by the bass unit in amuch more intelligent, efficient way than speaker designs based on ported orsealed boxes.
