Ovation Country Artist 1674 Nylon String 1980's Natural

This Ovation 1674 Country Artist in excellent - near mint shape. 

One of the best guitars for electric amplification, seen and used by many pro-artists for decades in every genre, from classical to rock, country to pop. A versatile instrument that has the build and feel of more of a standard acoustic guitar, and built like one for that reason. The 1674 model was in very short production so few were made. 

For those that don't know this particular model is a nylon string guitar for steel string pickers. It is not an authentic classical, although it is manufactured in the  classical guitar category, mainly due to the fact that the nut width is 1 7/8" as opposed to the classical 2" and the neck joins the body at the 14th fret like steel strings guitars as opposed to classical at the 12th fret.

 Nice sweet sound and smooth super easy to play. Has the ovation FET pre-amp with stacked knob volume/tone control. 

Model 1674 was manufactured sometime in the 80's at Ovation guitar factory in New Hartford, Connecticut. Serial No. 290864.Includes the original hard shell case, which is also in very good condition. 

I am just not playing it. That's my rule with my collection, if it's not being played, then away it goes. A good deal on a very nice and near new like condition nylon string guitar.
