This is a great players guitar. If you love the Maton sound (Tommy Emanuel, Joe Robinson, Keith Urban, etc) you will love this. The Maton pickup is one of the best live sounds I have ever heard.
I just bought an 808TE so this one has to go.
I had a full set up done by Third Coast Guitar in Chicago. They did a really nice job.
Frets are in great shape. Tuners are fantastic.
Overall, a great looking and sounding Maton. Excellent hard case.
I bought this guitar in 2016 and at the time it had two issues that keep it from being in Excellent condition.
1) There is a crack in the top that runs from the bridge south. The crack had been repaired by a prior owner with cleats. You will see it in the pics.
When I took it to Third Coast, they said the repair was solid and the top stable. As long as you keep the included humidifier going in the guitar, or you live in a high humidity area, you will have no problems. When I took it to Third Coast, the cost to fix was $600-$700. Did not seem to make sense since it does not effect sound or playability and would not change the value that much. But it is fixable if you choose.
2) There is a bit of a mark in the back of the neck. See the pics. Again, no impact on playability. But it is there.
If you want a great sounding guitar, acoustic and electric, at a great price, this is the one for you.
