Here's a little piece of history. First of all, it's a classic sample CD from the Roland orchestral libraries. But it's also like a Spectrasonics library before there was Spectrasonics! In 1994, just before they launched the first Spectrasonics library and changed the world, Eric Persing & Bob Daspit were the brains behind this excellent Roland "String Sections, Vol.1" collection.

This one is collectible and absolutely like new. Both the CD and the booklet are in mint condition. It's had one owner and has had an easy life in a clean, smoke-free studio.

Created for the Roland 700 Series samplers and fully readable by EMU Ultra series samplers. Kurzweil K2000/K2500/K2600 series samplers and later Ensoniq samplers can read the sample data but may not import the program data. But really, these days it can probably be translated into any format you like.
