Gibson lance la dreadnought J-55 en 1939.
Cette guitare folk est lancée initialement avec des épaules rondes, le dos et les éclisses en acajou, un pickguard Tortoise, une touche en ébène, un chevalet « moustache », une finition sunburst et un binding. 

Cette première version sera produite de 1939 à fin 1942. 

En 1973, Gibson réintroduit ce modèle de qualité, avec des caractéristiques différentes. 

Guitare Collection vous présente cette belle J-55 de 1976, dans un très bel état, en finition natural, avec un pickguard Tortoise.
Un instrument assez rare parmi les offres acoustiques vintage de Gibson.
Sa touche en palissandre offre une belle rondeur au son, et un touché agréable.
Une guitare folk avec une projection importante provenant d’un barrage en X efficace.
Cette dreadnought est entièrement originale, et particulièrement bien conservée pour ses 45 années.

A noter que la fissure visible entre la fin de la touche et la rosasse a été professionnellement réparée et n’a aucun impact sur le son.

Livrée dans un Hardcase, cette guitare a été soigneusement réglée par notre luthier résident.

Gibson launched the J-55 dreadnought in 1939.

This folk guitar is initially released with round shoulders, mahogany back and sides, Tortoise pickguard, ebony fingerboard, mustache bridge, sunburst finish and binding. 
This first version will be produced from 1939 to the end of 1942. 

In 1973, Gibson reintroduced this quality model, with different characteristics. 

Guitare Collection presents this beautiful 1976 J-55, in a very good condition, in natural finish, with a Tortoise pickguard.
A fairly rare instrument among Gibson's vintage acoustic offerings.
Its rosewood fingerboard offers a nice roundness to the sound, and a pleasant touch.
A folk guitar with a large projection coming from an efficient x-bracing.
This dreadnought is entirely original, and particularly well preserved for its 45 years.

Note that the visible crack between the end of the fingerboard and the rosette has been professionally repaired and has no impact on the sound.

Delivered in a Hardcase, this guitar has been carefully tuned by our resident luthier.
