Greetings!
We are making available our entire inventory of pending restorations to share the love!
Here is isolation project #17 for your entertainment during these very odd times......
This is an early piece of Japanese guitar construction.
Probably made in FujiGen Gakki which later went on to make the Ibanez guitars.
These oversize dreadnoughts are loud, bassy and fun to play.
With the classic styling and diamond side markers, she's certainly an interesting looker.
- Tuner missing (we will include a period correct replacement)
- Headplate lifting slightly
- Action high, neck requires resetting
- Truss rod nut missing, truss rod replacement required
These guitars always require similar work at this stage being an early Japanese guitar around 50+ years old.
She’s all original which is very rare to see, in fact, the only one we have seen with all original hardware.
Only around one per year of this model is seen for sale online.
It is about a days work to us to restore and the value would be around £500 restored so priced accordingly.
Ms Angelica has a lot going for her, yet she's going to be reasonably high maintenance!
Over to you.....
Good luck!
Enjoy!
