(Full disclosure: this is one of my favorite basses.) -hb

-Original, super rare fender CIJ aerodyne jazz bass in excellent playing condition. As you know, almost all the aerodynes were “mij” and while very nice, didn’t quite have the quality of the fancier “crafted in Japan” models. This rare CIJ has beautiful fit, finish, and playability, and is an absolute pleasure to have in the studio.

The neck is arrow straight and perfectly intonated; lightning fast, and the pickups are hot, dense, and thumpy, with awesome piano like tones out of the bridge, and deep, dark, thud from the precision neck position. The neck is full gloss, headstock dyed to match, and she’s a darth beauty in black on black.

Cosmetically, she’s very well played, with plenty of exterior finish wear, all earned, all authentic, all included at no extra charge. Ships in a quality gig bag, not pictured.
