Vintage Kay M1 Upright Double Bass

This Vintage Kay M1 Bass was originally manufactured circa 1946. The bass is a 3/4 size and is in nice overall shape. The next had at one point come off of the instrument and had been repaired and pinned back on by a previous owner. The instrument does show some wear due to its age but nothing out of the ordinary. The endpin was replaced, but the tuning machines and tailpiece appear to be original. This bass has been set up with D'Addario Kaplan strings. A bag and bow are not included. A great vintage instrument with a classic booming sound. Great for Rockabilly, Folk, Bluegrass, and many other styles.
