Vintage Aria M series with this design label were made from late 1960s until 1972 by Masaru Matano and Ryoji Matsuoka. Arias made by R.Matsuoka had Ramirez style headstock. This guitar remains in perfect working and excellent cosmetic condition. Cosmetic flaws include few very small marks and dents on the top. This guitar is not as gorgeous as today's guitars, but it looks beautiful and classy when you see it. In particular, the sound of this guitar is so good that I've played and this is also the reason it is one of my favorite.
The price of this guitar in 1970 was 25,000 yen, which is equivalent to three-quarters of the annual salary of Japanese university graduates which is equivalent to about $ 3,000 today.
