The Carry-on Travel guitar was designed in the UK by Blackstar in association with the master luthiers at Gordon Smith Guitars UK. The resulting play and feel is like no other travel size guitar.

Constructed using a single piece Okoume body and neck and featuring a coil-splittable mini humbucker, the Carry-on Travel guitar combines true tone and feel beyond its size. Using a single billet of wood for the body and neck means that the grain will be an even match across the instrument and allows the guitar to reverberate freely and evenly – a glue join would have been a barrier to reverberation.

A compact size guitar, that plays and feels like a full-size electric guitar, this 20.7" scale, string-through-bridge designed electric guitar has a maximum amount of sustain, tuning stability and tone. The Carry-on travel guitar is a portable travel-sized guitar that plays and feels like a serious full-sized instrument. 

Loaded with single humbucker which pumps out amazing tones and, with the coil-tap built into the volume knob, you can increase the versatility of this already amazing guitar ten-fold.

Just like its full-sized counterparts, this guitar features closed-geared-tuners, with a fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge, ensuring that you're in tune whether you're backpacking in the Alps, losing yourself in Joshua Tree or practicing at the office.

For added versatility, this guitar comes with the Blackstar amPlug2 FLY travel headphone amplifier - which has won awards for its amazing tonal quality and ingenuity. Loaded with Clean, Crunch and Lead tones, this amp can cover every spectrum especially when utilizing the onboard Reverb, Chorus and Delay effects!

Topped off with a Jet Black finish and matching headstock, cream binding, black pickguard, a complimentary natural back and sides and chrome hardware.

However, please keep in mind when instruments are shipped, they can endure temperature changes as well as doing the "shipper shuffle" and therefore minor adjustments may be needed to set up the instrument to your personal preferences after receiving it.
