About This Listing

DOUBLE OVERDRIVE PEDAL FOR GUITAR

The new Strymon Sunset offers the best of classic overdrive circuits, specially customized for gratifying instant control of a wide range of sought-after sounds. Strymon has studied six unique circuit types found in many iconic classic overdrives, and merged them together into a single two-channel unit. Sunset is truly two customizable overdrives, fully independently selectable, and flexible signal path, specially designed and calibrated for complementary sounds when paired. Six distinct circuits that react differently under your hands, two in one, together in the same affordable package. Push your amp in any way you want, from the clearest sound to the most saturated one, going all the way in between. Ever since the days when overdrives were created simply to push an amp to the limit in order to achieve saturated sound even at an acceptable volume, guitarists have rapidly evolved towards the desire to want more level, multistage sounds. The sum of several stages gives more flexibility and a greater range of available sounds. You can find an overdrive that sounds great on its own, but passing it through a second overdrive takes you to a new sonic dimension. The Sunset allows you to use each of the six overdrive circuits individually, or to add the overdrive of channel A through channel B, or conversely channel B through channel A, or to use the two circuits in parallel.
