About This Listing
1966-67 Gibson ES-175. This is a one owner guitar, purchased new in 1967, which, he used on tour with Johnny Maestro. It is a 'pencil-neck' model, with a nut width of 1- 9/16''. There is a normal amount of 'orange peeling' which is normal with nitro-cellulose lacquer. There are two hairline cracks on either side of the strap peg, but they are not connected and do not affect the guitar structurally. There is also a small hole and crack in the bend of the cut-away, but, again, there's no structural impact. Fretboard is Brazilian rosewood. The neck is straight and the action is perfect. All parts are original, and the guitar sounds and plays amazing. Hard case included.
