My idea when I built this was to make a bass friendlier harmonic Percolator by adding a clean blend. It's kind of not great for bass still, but the blend makes it even more amazing on guitar. It can be as subtle or nasty as you want it to be. Oh and the holes with the ghosts on the back was due to me not measuring correctly. I wanted to have top-mounted jacks, but seeing as this was my first "from scratch" build I didn't realize the enclosure wasn't tall enough to accommodate top-mounted jacks and pots that close to the top.
The controls are as follows: left silver knob is volume, the right is gain, the switch lifts the diodes from the circuit and the small black knob is the blend. All the way left is all dirty signal, and all the way right is clean. The way I wired it up though, the volume is for the dirt circuit only so when you have the blend set mostly clean you can still crank the volume on the HP circuit to almost match. It's really fun I promise.
