Martin's CS-Bluegrass-16 is one of their most unique guitars in their storied history, and is one in a limited run of only 100 guitars. Featuring a dalmatian pickguard, enlarged soundhole, and exceptional build quality in both construction and materials used, it plays remarkably well while also distinguishing itself visually. An Adirondack Spruce top with Martin's acclaimed Vintage Tone System combines with Guatemalan Rosewood back & sides to create full-bodied dreadnought tone. The CS-Bluegrass-16's crystalline highs, booming lows, and well-defined mids all are a result of not only its high-quality tonewoods, but also its hide glue construction and forward shifted, scalloped "X" bracing. Grained Ivoroid binding, mother of pearl fingerboard inlays, and a vintage gloss finish round out the guitar's visuals. Martin's Custom Shop has produced yet another acoustic jem with the CS-Bluegrass-16.
