1931 00-21H Player grade instrument. Original bar frets shimmed up, & original fret board, which was already radiused. Neck re-set in 2019 along with the conversion to the Spanish set-up. Beautiful herringbone rosette & back stripe. Finish has spider checking & is in good old condition, & is most likely original to the guitar. Beautiful book-matched rosewood back & sides. Original engraved tuners in excellent working condition, with original ivoroid buttons. Scalloped bracing, as one would expect. There is a small area around the fringes of the bridge on the bass end, that is discolored, & the rosewood bridge & maple bridge-plate are slightly oversized. Everything is structurally sound, no cracks, no bellying. There is a 1 1/2” scratch in the finish extending from the bass end of the bridge towards the butt of the guitar.
The guitar plays & sounds exceptional, big sound, very responsive to the touch, the volume jumps out of the box, & the tone is multi-layered & rich. Ready to be played.
