This guitar is a terrific player (IMO) and the gold foils in it sound great.  I believe the gold foils must have been an aftermarket addition by a previous owner because as far as I know Old Kraftsman guitars were made by Kay and it should have either speed bump or pancake pickups. 

I'm not sure on the year, I'm guessing late 50s/early 60s.   

The body has some wear and tear as you can see.  

I added new pics and a video demo of myself playing the guitar very sloppily, as I might trying out a guitar in a store.
