About This Listing
Gibson B25 1966 or 67 Guitar With Case. Condition is "Used".
This is a Gibson B25 model from 1966/67, cherry sunburst, solid mahogany back, sides, and neck with rosewood fingerboard and solid spruce top. This guitar was completely restored about 20 years ago by Lay’s Guitar in Ohio.. check them out online, and their famous history. Everything is original except the repo tuners.. it comes with hardshell case pictured or the original Gibson chipboard case, your choice. It’s in excellent condition since the old restoration, it has some very light pick marks around the sound hole area and It has a check/checks/wood seem or an old crack on the front top at the bottom right and left bout shown in the picture.. it’s solid and doesn’t affect the tone so I’m not sure if it’s just in the finish or an old crack or wood seem that was under the finish when it was restored. This guitar has been in my family since 1969 and I’m just attempting to sell to purchase something I’m interested in playing.. like a used Gibson ES 335 or Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins or a used Eastman AR910CE archtop.
This is the Gibson model with the slimmer thin and more comfortable neck profile, low string action and plays and sounds good. It does not have the big round fat neck like I’ve seen on some.
Thanks for looking!
I’m only shipping out on the weekends due to my working schedule. Thanks
