Refurbished Vintage Drum Mate (Tama) MIJ 5 x 14 Snare in Black Diamond Pearl
Six lug snare, made in Japan during the "stencil" era by Star (which would become Tama). Drum Mate was the student line of Star. Lauan mahogany ply shell, unique black marine pearl wrap. The snare has a dry sound, is very easy to tune, and is in excellent working order for a 60 year old drum.

Details:
- Heads: Evans G14 Modern on top, nearly new Evans 300 on bottom.
- All original hardware except for top side tension rods and receivers, which are new.
- Original MIJ snares.
- No cracks or crushing on the shell. No visible scratches on the wrap.
- Bearing edges have been waxed, chrome lugs have been polished, tension rods are greased--overall, this drum is ready for heavy use!
