About This Listing

***This is a Pre-Owned item in fair condition. The battery plate is missing and two knobs are missing caps.***

The DOD FX35 Octoplus pedal creates a tone one octave below the signal input and it works super on both guitar and bass. This pedal is a great gift for any effects pedal enthusiast. The Octoplus was made from 1986 to 1994 and this FX 35 is from the original run of this pedal in 1986.

The Octoplus features a nice-range of octave sounds that fattens up the player's tone. The Octave level allows you to adjust the amount of generated lower octave signal to the output. The Tone control boosts the bass or treble of the octave signal. Clockwise boosts the upper frequencies and counter-clockwise boosts the lower frequencies. The Direct level adjusts the level of the input signal allowed to pass through the output.

When used with guitar, the sound is similar to a guitar and a bass playing at the same time. The pedal adds a lot of punch to single picked bass lines. The Octoplus only features one octave, but this pedal does one octave very well.
