1980 ESP NAVIGATOR SA 120

Laminated maple top and back.
Mahogany center block
Exceptionally heavy carve.  
This has more elevation to the arches than the modern Gibson 335s.
The build quality on this is just amazing.
The tobacco burst is absolutely stunning, If you like how 50's and 60s gibson bursts look.

Very slight birdseye with and a lot of spalting

They sound very, very similar to late 60's patent number Gibson pickups
Tuners, bridge and tailpiece are marked Yamaha.  They are extremely high quality.
I highly doubt ESP was buying hardware from Yamaha so they are probably not original.

Includes fitted tolex case

I believe the case is original.  It is excellent condition structurally.
however the tolex is coming off, pretty heavily.   See pictures.

The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfect
The Frets are showing indentations however i have the action set fairly low and
it does not Fret out or Buzz.
The Frets are large and could easily be crowned if you felt it was holding you back.

No significant damage.
lots of scuffs, some heavy, lots of nicks and chips.
Looks like there was a repair to the top corner of the headstock.
The top is cracked at the jack and the bridge.  This is the top layer of ply.
It is a visual issue only.  It was like this when I purchased it.
I have owned this guitar about 9 years now and not had any issues with stability.

This is the perfect guitar if you want the look and sound of a vintage
335 that you can gig with and not worry about damaging a priceless classic
Gibson from the 60's or you are just looking for something as close as possible at a better price.
This is a top tier Made in Japan Clone.  They are fairly rare and highly coveted, for good reason.
