This rare Akai from the early 70s has been restored and recapped with premium quality capacitors from Nichicon, Elna and United Chemicon plus Bourns trimmer resistors. It's a very well built amplifier with all metal knobs and face plate.
It's strange that they used 1/4" jacks for the A speakers. Either makeup some adapters or just use the B terminals. The rear panel got hit somehow underneath the tape in/out terminal area, so it has a slight bulge outward. Weird, but only a cosmetic issue. No internal damage. It's visible in photo 8.
30 watts/channel into 8 ohms.
