About This Listing
DeArmond ASHBORY Bass in nice shape - blue and beautiful! comes with orig gig bag - check out video to see it play (don't bust my chops - I'm NOT a bass player!) - knobs are quiet - missing one string but these are readily available on-line (cheap!) - here's some of what Wikipedia says..... "The Ashbory bass, invented by and designed by Nigel Thornbory, is an 18-inch scale fretless (but marked) electric bass developed in 1985. This scale is just over half the length of the 34-inch scale of an ordinary . When amplified, the Ashbory produces a low, resonant bass tone similar to the tone of a pizzicato (plucked) " . - i see Guild and Fender names thrown around when talking about these, but i really don't know the lineage on this guy. will ship with battery removed to avoid any possible leakage during transport.
