Ramirez Clase 1a 1978 Cedar with VIDEO demo - fantastic condition from the Ramirez glory days

Up for sale is the gorgeous 1978 Ramirez 1a - their top mode guitar from one of the most sought after time periods of Ramirez guitar building.

This guitar is in immaculate condition considering it’s age. It has two professionally repaired cracks, which I tried to photograph well. One under the bridge (almost every old Ramirez has this) and one on the back. Both seem to merely be cosmetic as this guitar sounds gorgeous. Sweet and thick Low end with bright clear bell like trebles. I will upload a video soon of this fantastic guitar.

The action in first position is nice and low, and as it goes up the neck, it gets a bit higher. 665mm scale. It works well for a seasoned player and plays without any buzz (!!!) but you may want to take a mm or two off the bridge/saddle eventually. An easy adjustment as this guitar has already fairly decent action.

As far as the rest of the guitar - the condition is beautiful. It was my intention to photograph all the imperfections I could find. There are tiny little scratches in a few places (all seen basically only by reflecting the guitar into the light - same goes for the cracks). And a little area of tiny finish scratches that can be seen where you rest the guitar onto your chest. All super-normal things for a guitar that is is 40+ years old.

The tuners (original, I believe!) are in great shape, tune well, and it even comes with a case that’s in great condition as well.
